I was really impressed with this site when I first pulled in. They had all the stuff that the large sites should have.
An impressive Rec hall, large well equipped store and nice landscaped property. However, my attitude started to change as
I drove through the actual sites. The Seasonals were quite run down and in need of repiar or replacement. The grass was long
on most of the sites because it was the renters responsibility to cut it. Our site was beautiful. Right on the beach. The
water had a smell coming off it which left something to be desired but that only lasted for a day.
The sites were actually
really large. They were pretty flat and the hook ups were in a good positions to allow the trailer to be postioned just about
anywhere on the site.
Everything seemed to be kept quiet and under control without a lot of security presence.
The bathrooms
were small with only 3 stalls and a shower but they made up for it by putting lots of them on the sire. The cleaned them at
wierd times making a shower in the morning difficult.
I was not impressed that the only place that garbage could be
dumped was not a walking distance from our site. Every night I had to drive my garbage to the front gate. I could have walked
it but it would have been a good 15-20 minutes and I didn't feel like missing that much of the fire.
There was a train
that ran close to the campground and whitled at least 6 times a night. The pool was clean but they would continually have
problems keeping it clear enough that the deep end of the pool could be opened.
All in all not a bad site but not great.
