My 2 Cents
We had our choice of sites and noticed that on some of the sites the hook ups are on the wrong side forcing you to
pull into a back in site. Not good but we got lucky and got one with the hook ups on the right side. I also noticed that not
all the sites had a 30 amp connection which would have made life hard on me.
The sites were nice and big and well
cared for. The bathrooms were spars but very clean and private. Unfortunately the grass is kept so nice because they do not
allow Outdoor carpet because it makes it difficult to keep the grass nice.
The playground was old and could probably
be replaced.
The pool is very nice. The liner is old but the water is clean and without being over chlorinated. They
keep the water at a comfortably warm temperature but cool enough that it is refreshing on a hot day. The hot tube is equally
nice.
There was not a lot in the camp store but there was enough to cover the emergencies but you are a five minute
drive from town so anything else would be easily bought there. Making the store almost unnecessary.
The owners made
frequent rounds making sure everything was alright with everyones sites and that there wasn't anything they could do to make
the stay just that much more enjoyable. They even provided free coffee and (in my opinion) the best donuts ever the morning
after we all froze to death on their site as a thank you for turning out in such bad conditions.
I fell in love with
this little campground. I think that it was the people that are the regulars that did it for me. I would recommend it to anyone.
I wish that the hook ups and playground were better set up so that I could give it a better rating. Woodalls gave it 4/4.
We booked our next stay as we were checking out.
