My 2 Cents
I have to admitt the first thing that I thought when we arrived was "holy cow look at the size of that pool!" They
have an enormous wading swimming pool with a few slides. I was a little less impressed when I tried to use the pool and discovered
that it wasn't heated and it was ice cold.
We had a great time. The people were friendly and the facilities had just
been up-dated. The showers were immaculate. I think they must have been cleaned every couple of hours to stay so clean.
There
were very few trouble makers and plenty of friendly nieghbours. The quiet hours seemed to be observed and the park's employees
were visible enough that you felt that they were keeping an eye on things.
For those of you who enjoy dry camping
they have some beautiful site that are tucked away in the back away from EVERYTHING. I came across them only because we were
showing the little ones the wild flowers in the forrest and stumbled across them.
Being so close to Niagara Falls
is a bonus because on days when the weather is not co-operating there is somewhere to go and something to do. It only took
us about fifteen minutes to get to the butterfly conservatory from the campground. (If you haven't been there GO!)
All
in all this is a great site it was to bad that the pool hadn't warmed up enough to swim in but even without the pool we had
a great time.
