My 2 cents
This campground is one of the smaller Provincial Parks in Ontario. Located directly on the shores of Lake Huron
it was once the site of an old farm and inn. We ended up here by accident but were happy once we were there.
There really isn't a lot to do within the park. The sites are a good site and well shaded with mature trees.
Most of the restrooms are outhouses but that is always the case with the Provincial Parks. The showers were free and
clean but a little run down. The staff were doing a great job with the up keep and the park wardens kept everyone under
control after quiet time.
What the park itself lacks is made up in the town of Goderich. There is a lot of activities to do there and you
should never really get bored. Unlike the Pinery or some other P.P.s you might want to consider this park more of a
home base than the holiday in itself.
We enjoyed our stay but could not have stayed within the park for the entire trip.
My Rating 2.5 of 5
