My 2 Cents
This is the absolute best camping experience that a person can find. The Pinery Provincial Park is
a world protected site since the Oak Savanah that it protects is some of the rarest wilderness in the world. The park
protects more than half ot the forrest that remains on the planet.
It sits on the shore of Lake Huron. Just outside the tourist town of Grand Bend. All that
I can say is if you ever get the chance to camp here and it there is actually a site available you need to drop everything
and go. Take the night hike and the canoe tour of the river.
We were never looking for anything to do. With 20 plus kilometers of hiking trails and some really
beautiful beaches the family will always have something to do.
The only thing that I can complain about is the size of the park. It is so large that you need to
drive to get anywhere in the park.
