What a wonderful campground. We visited this remot spot on the spur of the momment type camp out.
Surrounded by Crown forrest and just minutes to Turkey point or Port Dover it is one of the nicest spots we have been to.
The owners are wonderful people. The one night that there was a fairly significant storm they even checked up on us
in our tent camper as there was one one else near us being the middle of the week.
The playgrounds were almost new and well maintained. All of the sites were properly groomed and extremely
large. A nice added touch was the placement of very clean port a potties through out the park eliminating the nead to
walk very far at all to get to the main restrooms.
There were miles of wilderness trails to follow and one of them took you in a very short time to a small
man made lake that was just down stream from a fishery. It was a beautiful spot that had decent fishing.
The sites were laid out in a well thought out manner with lots of open space around for kids to burn off
energy.
The pool was being repainted when we were there. It was an older concrete pool that looks to have
recieved a fresh coat of paint every year day of its life.
