I had been looking forward to staying at this campground for sometime since it was my wife's home away from home for
many years when she was a kid.
I have to say I was a little dissapointed with the condition of everything but we had
a great time anyway.
I decided that we should camp right after work that way not using any of my vacation time but
still getting two campfires. Which are personally my favourite part of camping. I will not do that often. After finally getting
to the site and setting up we did not eat until about 9 pm.
The girl's were a little cranky (so was I) but we still
had a relaxing night by the fire.
We were disappointed to find the pool was not opened for the year yet but we kept
ourselves busy playing catch and going to a nearby town for a day trip.
After supper we had another fire and got to
toast the first wienners of the year.
It rainned a bit Saturday night but the sound of it on the roof made for some
very restfull sleep.
