Yes we met in high school. It was both of our final years and we were both trying to finish well to get into College and University. Jill wanted to head into nursing and was having a little trouble with her chemistry. I was good at chemistry and offered to help on the condition that (this is the embarrassing part) she let me take her dinner. I thought it was my only chance.

After a month or so of dating almost every night I did eventually get around to teaching her enough chemistry to pass her exams and get into nursing school.

So now that I managed to get her to date me I went for the next daring step. We were engaged and 6 months later we were married. It was a beautiful day on the 27th of September 1997 when the worlds most beautiful bride got hitched to some big goober.

A remarkably well planned reception followed (Jill did all the work I just showed up). Friends and family from as far away as England ate and drank and danced the night away. Eventually we managed to sneak out and get some sleep before our flight to Cuba the next day. We spent a week in the sand and sun before we returned not knowing exactly what we were going to do next.

Since then we have had 10 years of wedded bliss. I've managed to keep myself employed and even got a raise or two. We've had 2 beautiful daughters and one trouble maker.
